WHY MAINE HOOPS?  You DON'T last over 25 years, if you are not doing it the right way!  We are one of the few Tournament providers that TRULY CARES about your team match ups.  We are not some mass Tournament organization, who just wants to get the schedule out.  You make a difference with us and we will work hard to give you the best match-ups we can.  We have teams from all over New England and Canada already committed to our events.   Why Maine Hoops Tournaments? 

Certified Board Officials, Top Locations and Gyms.  We specialize in ONE DAY options, choose either day of Play.  There is no reason to look anywhere else!! You can register as late as 12:00 noon on the Monday before the weekend of play.

To register for an event, please click on the location of the event for which you are playing in.  Southern Maine Events are played Saco and the Greater Portland area, while Central Maine Events are played in the Waterville, Augusta and Lewiston area. You will be brought to another site to complete the registration process. You can register without making a payment.  Also, after you have registered, you can return to the site to make payments or schedule requests. October 4th/5th - Chase for "The Chain" (Northern/Central Maine Only) - Let's GOOOO!! Bracket Buster style event where teams are playing for a chance to wear "The Chain" around their necks! Awesome "Chain" awarded to every winning team in their bracket. Great Fun event for all involved!! Bracket Buster Format. October 4th/5th - Fall Frenzy I (Southern Maine Only) The Fall is Heating up with this FF I !!  - Play Saturday, Sunday or both Showcase Format Event - Click Here for Southern Maine Area. 

October 11th/12th - Fall Frenzy II - The Fall Season is Continuing to Get Busy with FF II !!  - It's the Long Columbus Day Weekend come play some hoops and get your Leaf Peeping in! Play Saturday, Sunday or both Showcase Format Event -   Click Here for Southern Maine   Click Here for Central Maine or Bangor Area 

October 18th/19th - Chase for "The Chain" (Southern Maine Area) - Let's GOOOO!! Bracket Buster style event will now comes to the Southern Maine area! Teams are playing for a chance to wear "The Chain" around their necks! October 18th/19th - Fall Frenzy III (Northern/Central Maine Only) - We are now in the middle of the Fall season and the games keep moving along. Play Saturday, Sunday or both Showcase Format Event - Click Here for Northern/Central Maine.  (Cost $325/$175)

October 25th/26th - NORTH vs SOUTH CHALLENGE - Maine is really just one small State, so it's time to see which part of the State will "win" the Challenge!! Teams will be matched up against teams from each region with points being awarded to the winning region to see who really has "game!!"  Great Opportunity to see teams you normally don't see without leaving the State.  We are LOADING up on Gyms in the Central Maine and Lewiston/Auburn/Brunswick area to limit the amount of travel for everyone - Click Here for North vs South Challenge

November 8th/9th - Maine Hoops  - "Salute to the Troops" Veteran's Day Weekend Event - All current and past members of the military will receive free admissions. Also, teams who have a player of present or former military member will receive a $50 team discount. (weekend play only) Come to Maine to finish the Fall Circuit and enjoy this tribute event. February 21-23  - 4th Annual Town Team Championships  - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER

On the weekend of February 21-23 Maine Hoops will be hosting an official Qualifier Tournament for the 2025 New England Basketball Championships to be held in Providence/Tiverton on March 13-16. All teams finishing 1st or 2nd in each division will qualify for the State Championship to battle top teams from towns throughout the New England area. Championship Games to be played at the Augusta Civic Center on February 23rd!! Last year close to 80 teams participated!!

This event is for Town/City teams and is not open to AAU or Club teams unless ALL players are from the same community for Boys and Girls Grades 4-9. Tournament format will be Pool Play to either Single Elimination Gold or Silver Tournament, so all Levels of ability are welcome. The Gold Championships games will be played at the Augusta Civic Center!! The top two teams from the Gold Divisions in grades 4-8 will earn a "Golden Ticket" for the New England Championships. The Tournament offers a 3 Game Guarantee, however, most teams will play a minimum of 4 games.

All Events - Southern Maine $350 for 2 Days and $195 for one day, Showcase Style is $195 per day or $375 for two days - Central Maine $350 for 2 Days and $185/$195 for one day. If you would like to mail your payment for Southern Maine Events ONLY, you can do so with this form. YOU MUST STILL REGISTER ONLINE! Showcase Style Events - Teams going undefeated for the weekend (Southern Maine) will receive Championship T-Shirts (4 games total) Showcase style guarantees your game times, no waiting to see your schedule based on results. Most importantly it allows us to give you the most competitive schedule we can, as this is how players get better. Play 1 (2 games) or Both (4 Games) Days. 

Championship Format Events - Pool Play to Championship Event - Traditional Championship Event - Winning teams will receive Championship T-Shirts or Other Items. Every now and then it's fun to play a Tournament out to a Championship game in all divisions. 3+ Game Guarantee, you may register for just 1 day, however, you will not be included in Championship Play.  

Bracket Buster Events - 2 Games Minimum Guaranteed Each Day - Each Day teams will be placed in Brackets with teams of like ability. The Brackets will play out into a Championship Game each day, some teams will even get an extra game!  This exciting format has proven to be a huge hit for participating teams.
